Karlos Dansby

Karlos Dansby
Miami Inside Linebacker

Before the 2010 pro football season, Miami signed inside linebacker Karlos Dansby to the richest contract for his position in league history. Karlos didn't flinch at the pressures that came with a big contract and new team as he turned in another year's worth of jaw-dropping plays and statistics.

Karlos entered the league as the 33rd overall pick by Arizona in the 2004 draft. In his first year, he was selected to the league's all-rookie team as he began laying the foundation for what could very well become a "Hall of Fame" career.

With a game-winning fumble recovery touchdown during an overtime playoff contest already to his credit, Karlos has amassed an astounding 648 tackles, 28.5 sacks, and 10 interceptions in just six seasons. The bona fide FreeLife® product lover believes that conditioning and work ethic are the keys to success for a professional athlete
"Whether it's Chi3 Energy before workouts, Jule to enhance recovery times, or GoChi each morning and night to improve my overall well-being, FreeLife products have become an important part of my daily regime – even in the offseason,” he says. “I am glad I discovered these products when I did. They are going to help extend my career and keep me healthy well into the future. FreeLife products complement one another and have given me a competitive edge."

Chad Owens

Chad Owens
Toronto Wide Receiver/Kick Returner

2011 saw Toronto wide receiver and kick returner Chad Owens becomes the first professional football player to post more than 3,000 all-purpose yards in consecutive seasons.

Chad has had stints with Jacksonville, Montreal, and finally landed in Toronto where he made his presence felt. In 2010, he was unanimously elected the league’s Outstanding Special Teams Player.

He is the University of Hawaii’s all-time leader in yardage with 5,461 yards from scrimmage. He also racked up 3,031 yards receiving, with 29 touchdowns to his credit.

At 5-foot-7 and 180 pounds, Chad relies on speed and quickness to outperform his opposition. He also understands the vital role nutrition plays in keeping his body fine-tuned. But when it comes to an “X factor” to help him ratchet up his performance and continue to defy the odds, he turns to FreeLife:

“FreeLife products have been fantastic for me. Having GoChi in my body puts my mind at ease, because I know I am getting great health benefits and can count on a good night’s rest. And, when it’s time to suit up for practice or take on an opponent, I have Chi3 Energy to make sure I am feeling charged up, alert, and focused. For me it’s GoChi in the fridge, Chi3 in my locker, and some unhappy faces on guys trying to catch me. “

Steve Smith

Steve Smith
Carolina Wide Receiver

Even the most casual professional football fan knows the name Steve Smith, who had a total 8,850 yards (more than 5 miles) in pass receptions by the end of the 2010 season. Drafted by Carolina in 2001, Smith's incomparable playmaking ability was recognized early in his professional career and he is still widely considered among the most dominant receivers in the game. His incredible athleticism and tenacity have kept opposing defenses off balance for nearly a decade.

He has been named to pro football's first all-star team twice and has earned a spot in its all-star game four times.
Smith attributes FreeLife products with helping him play younger than his age.

”As a rookie, my body was fueled by youth and adrenaline alone. Now, as a veteran and team leader, it is important to stay focused on what I put into my body so I can continue to play at a top level. As an athlete, you are exposed to a variety of nutritional supplements, but FreeLife really caught my attention. With REVERSE! to help turn back the clock and Acti-Flex to soothe my joints and muscles and speed recovery time, my body feels as it did far earlier in my career. That is bad news for defensive players hoping that I would start slowing down. I have also been thoroughly enjoying the Organic Essentials line. My family loves that our favorite products are delivered right to our door. Now, I'm looking just as healthy as I feel."

Robert Meachem
New Orleans Wide Receiver

Robert Meachem made critical catches in the 2010 pro football title game to help New Orleans bring home the world championship. His decorated professional football career began with his selection as the 27th overall pick in the 2007 draft.

In four years as a pro, Robert has amassed 101 receptions for 1,649 yards and 17 touchdowns, averaging an impressive 16.3 yards per catch.

Meachem enjoyed rave reviews during his brilliant career at the University of Tennessee, where he earned all-Southeastern Conference (SEC) and All-American honors. Robert attended Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was named a high school All-American by Parade and SuperPrep reporting services.

"GoChi tastes great. The results are rapid and very beneficial to my body. After a long, hard day of training, I am able to rest better at night. I also have more energy and my recovery period during my workouts is much shorter than before. I not only drink GoChi during the season, but also during my off-season and mid-season programs to keep me feeling great."

Ryan Clark

Ryan Clark
Pittsburgh Defensive Back

Recently, Ryan Clark and his Pittsburgh teammates suffered a professional football championship game loss at the hands of Green Bay. Nevertheless, he did enjoy a fantastic 2010 season, registering 107 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 3 interceptions.

The road to success has certainly been a wild ride for Ryan, though the last few years have seen him anchor one of the finest defenses in professional football history, earning him a world championship with his Pittsburgh team in 2009. That triumph came after Ryan's career was threatened by a serious illness that nearly took his life.

Ryan, who earlier played for New York and Washington, entered the professional ranks in 2002 after an impressive college career at Louisiana State where he started 36 consecutive games at free safety.

Armed with GoChi and a deep belief in his abilities to overcome virtually any obstacle, Ryan's future, both on and off the field, looks to be very bright.

"GoChi's taste is second to none; its competition doesn't even come close. Its taste is only outdone by its freshness and the energy it provides. GoChi is a real game-changer."

Marcus Dixon

Marcus Dixon
New York Defensive End

Marcus Dixon hasn’t let a difficult childhood or the fact he was bypassed in the pro football draft derail his path to success. The 6-foot-4, 295-pound FreeLife® endorser came out of Hampton University in 2008 and joined Dallas as an undrafted free agent.

In 2010, Marcus left Dallas in the offseason for New York. His unconventional path to success was realized in the 2011 season when he was named a starter in one of the most prolific defenses in the league.

By overcoming his own challenging childhood, Marcus developed a great compassion for children and established the “Marcus Dixon Football Camp” that focuses on both football and life skills for 5-18 year olds.

As a combatant in pro football’s trenches, Marcus has to keep his body fine-tuned and extraordinarily durable. He is relentless in the weight room and very selective about what he puts into his body. That is what led him to FreeLife.

“My workout regimen is all about intensity. In order to push myself consistently, I need to burn the right fuel and take care of my body. I power up with Chi3 Energy™ before practices and games, take GoChi® daily to bolster my overall health, and I recently started using TAIslim BOOSTERs Protein Plus, which is perfect to help me pack on some extra muscle and speed up my recovery time.”

He's also worked in orthopedic physical therapy.

Former University of Wyoming standout Anthony “Buckets” Blakes has made a career of “guaranteeing smiles” for the world’s most beloved and best-known basketball team, the Harlem Globetrotters.

Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Anthony’s passion for basketball began at age five when he would watch the Phoenix Suns and shoot hoops with a tennis ball through a hole he had cut in his father’s hat. That same youthful passion has continued to burn throughout his life.

During his senior season at Wyoming, Anthony captained his squad for the second time and was one of only two players in the Mountain West Conference to finish in the top 15 in scoring, rebounds, and assists.

The only thing Buckets enjoys as much as basketball is helping and mentoring children. Through his relationship with the Globetrotters, he has become an ambassador for “C.H.E.E.R.™ For Character” the organization’s renowned youth program.

In 2011, Anthony debuted his newest creation, “the 4-point shot,” in a Globetrotter’s game. The shot only counts in the last three minutes of each quarter, and must be taken at least 35 feet from the basket, more than 10 feet longer than a NBA 3-pointer.

Anthony drinks both Chi3 Energy™ and GoChi®. Here’s what he has to say about those FreeLife® products:

“GoChi is phenomenal! I travel all over the world and have been longing for a product to keep me upbeat and less fatigued. I’ve found it with GoChi. I am resting much better and am very alert in the mornings. My joints and muscles are recovering faster. Plus, GoChi tastes great!”

“Chi3 Energy is the perfect complement to GoChi. I drink one before every practice and game. I really enjoy the extra boost of energy it gives me!”

Ebony Hoffman

Ebony Hoffman
Pro Basketball Player - Indiana

Ebony Hoffman has topped the 1,000 mark in both points and rebounds in American womens professional basketball, a tribute to her versatility and endurance. A seven-year veteran, she is widely regarded as the Indiana franchise's most charismatic and animated personality.

Ebony HoffmanThe 6-foot-2 Ebony was named the league's Most Improved Player in 2008 after posting career numbers in scoring, rebounds, 3-point field goals, assists, and steals. She has been ranked among the league leaders in rebounds during each of her seven pro seasons.

Ebony relies on FreeLife products, whether she is competing on the court or training in the off-season.

"I really love GoChi. My career as a professional basketball player has allowed me to see the world. But one of the drawbacks, from a nutritional standpoint, is that I find myself eating a variety of foods while visiting different countries. GoChi is a fundamental part of my diet that keeps me well-balanced. TAIslim provides another important piece to my off-season training. When the season ends, athletes tend to splurge on things we deny ourselves while competing. TAIslim has helped me meet and maintain my fitness goals during the off-season."

Nykesha Sales

Nykesha Sales
Professional Basketball Player - U.S. and Europe

Nykesha Sales has been a fan favorite for two Connecticut womens basketball teams – the University of Connecticut, which has dominated college ranks for years, and the state's professional franchise.

Nykesha was honored by the pro team with a special day during the 2010 season, even though she hadn't play for the franchise since 2007. Also in 2010, her all-time scoring record at the University of Connecticut was broken and she emailed her congratulations from Turkey, where she was playing professionally.

She has earned honors at every stage of her career: a six-time professional all-star; a member of national championship college team and recipient of rookie and defensive player of the year honors; and the national high school player of the year.

Nykesha is an enthusiastic advocate of FreeLife products. “Since I began drinking GoChi, I have noticed that I have vastly more energy and stamina during my workouts, which is vital to my profession. I was surprised to find that I have also been getting a better night's sleep! GoChi continues to be an invaluable ingredient contributing to my success as a professional athlete."

Travis Mays

Travis Mays
Ex-professional Basketball Player/Current College Coach

Travis Mays is in his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Louisiana State womens basketball team. Before that, he was a three-year assistant with the womens program at the University of Texas, his alma mater.

Travis MaysTravis played professionally for 12 seasons after scoring 2,279 points at Texas, second in the school's all-time scoring list. He helped lead Texas to the 1990 Final Eight, scoring 24.1 points per game. He was drafted with the 14th pick in the first round for 1990 draft by Sacramento. He was named to the league's all-rookie second team, averaging 14.3 points per game. Travis also played professionally in Greece, Israel, Turkey, and Italy.

Travis says FreeLife products help give him the kind of energy he had when he was playing.

“Now, I'm in my 40s and my energy level is once again as high as it was when I played and practiced every day,” Travis explains. “Recently, I began to notice I would be far more tired after lunchtime or my attention would fade altogether. I thought this was normal for my age. But, what really got my attention was my inability to get quality rest at night.

“Maybe it was fate, but I was introduced to GoChi right about that time. After only the first week, I began to notice that my ‘post-lunch wall' had all but disappeared. In addition, I found that my energy level remained high because I would go to practice and really wanted to get out on the basketball court with the young women I was coaching.

“All that is great, but the true gift is the quality of sleep I am getting every night. No matter the time I choose to lie down, I awake feeling alert and energized. I am enjoying the lifestyle and energy level of a 25-30 year old along with all the quality rest I need. Do yourself a favor and try GoChi.”

Chelsea starred for Rutgers from 2001-2005, being named the Big East Conference's defensive player of the year in her senior season. The Monroe, Louisiana native started 95 of 104 college games for the Scarlet Knights, scoring in double figures in 50 games while routinely drawing the toughest defensive lineup. She was the first winner of Rutgers' Chelsea Newton Scarlet Heart Award, which goes to the womens basketball player who best exemplifies perseverance, courage, and overcoming adversity.

Chelsea loves GoChi and Chi3 Energy. “GoChi tastes great and keeps me feeling my best each and every day, then, it even allows me to get a good night's sleep. If that were not enough, Chi3 Energy far surpasses any other energy drinks I've tried.”

After drinking my very first bottle of GoChi, I already noticed I had begun to feel stronger with a lot of extra energy in the morning.”

GoChi helps Mia maintain such a busy schedule.

“I drink GoChi every morning! Not only does it taste amazing, but my workouts have been going longer and with higher intensity. A friend of mine convinced me to try Chi3 Energy, just as I began training for a fight in Mexico. I discovered Chi3 Energy was far healthier than any of the others energy drinks I had tried before and it allowed me to work out for longer intervals with much higher intensity. Plus, it doesn't have all the caffeine and sugar of other energy drinks.

“Unbelievably, I also discovered that I continue to eat less, despite the fact that Chi3 is only 16 calories per serving! Best of all, Chi3 Energy tastes great and never gives me the jitters."

World Class

Lisa Smith-Batchen
Professional Distance/Ultra-Marathon Runner

In 2010, the year of her 50th birthday, Lisa became the first person to run 50 miles and all 50 states – a feat she accomplished in only 63 days. All proceeds from her Running Hope Through America sponsors were disbursed to charities for orphans around the world. During her 18 years of competitive running, Lisa has raised more than $5 million for childrens charities.

Lisa's love of fitness and competition started early. One of five siblings from Vicksburg, Mississippi, Lisa spent her childhood immersed in a variety of competitive and physical activities ranging from ballet, tap, and jazz dance, to ice hockey, and distance running.

In 1995, Lisa placed second in her first ultra-marathon, the legendary Badwater event and set the record there two years later. Eleven years after her Badwater debut, Lisa decided to “double” the race and still remains one of the few females to have run the daunting Badwater Double, also known as the Death Valley 300.

Despite the demands of parenthood and operating a business, Lisa is still a fierce competitor. Stories about Lisa's athletic achievements have appeared on the covers of the New York Times, Los Angeles Times,  and the Washington Post as well as Running Times, and Runner's World magazines, just to name a few. Lisa has also enjoyed television coverage with noteworthy segments on ESPN, Discovery Channel, ABC's Wide World of Sports, NBC Nightly News, and Good Morning America.
